Quinoa and Black Bean Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa (approximately 185g)
  • 1 cup black beans (approximately 172g)
  • 1/2 avocado (approximately 100g)
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper (approximately 30g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (approximately 15g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (approximately 15g)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (approximately 15g)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk
  • Spoon
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked quinoa and black beans.
  • Add the diced bell pepper and chopped cilantro to the bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the quinoa and bean mixture and toss to combine.
  • Slice the avocado and place it on top of the bowl before serving.
