Savory Chicken and Rice Bake


Ingredients:

  • 500g of boneless chicken breasts
  • 200g of white rice
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 500ml of chicken broth

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Air Fryer
  • Stove Top

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a bowl, mix the chopped onions with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In an air fryer, cook the seasoned chicken breasts at 200°C (400°F) for about 15 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the white rice, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes until rice is fluffy and liquid is absorbed.
  • In a baking dish, layer the cooked rice evenly on the bottom. Top with the sautéed onion mixture and place the air-fried chicken breasts on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes to brown the top.
